Sturgeon Awareness Initiative

The Nelson River Sturgeon Co-Management Board has initiated a sturgeon awareness strategy that holds paramount concepts using education and communication as the proactive tools for success. This sturgeon awareness initiative utilizes a variety of venues to make available information with the hopes of increasing public knowledge. The venues include this website, and information booth, pamphlets, televised info-mercials, community-based presentations and in-school workshops.
